LaGina R. Harris is a dedicated entrepreneur with a focus on creating positive social impact. A proud graduate of Stillman College and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Inc., she possesses a diverse skill set as an accomplished event planner, visual artist, higher education practitioner, and emerging media personality. LaGina’s professional journey includes experiences in strategic growth and operations consulting, leadership and team training, public speaking, curriculum writing, matriculation model design, and student retention implementation.
She is the visionary founder behind The Us Space, intentional innovation spaces designed to amplify women of color, women-led businesses, and women-centric organizations. LaGina is driven by her passion for challenging social norms, amplifying the voices of women, and instigating positive change within her community through her brand, LaRae Infinity. She is also the creative force behind the LaRae Infinity “Let’s Talk” podcast series and Stomping Ground with LaGina Rae radio show. LaGina Rae is frequently seen moderating panels, hosting events, and conducting interviews at award shows for organizations dedicated to equitable change.
In addition to her entrepreneurial endeavors, LaGina co-founded Melanin Minds, where she advocates for mental health and focuses on creating innovative approaches to preventative mental health practices. Recently, she shared her insights at the MBK Houston R.I.S.E. “Road to Success” College Support Program, discussing social capital and intentional community building as a business owner and ecosystem builder. Currently, LaGina serves as a business mentor for various programs in Greater Houston and beyond, including RED Labs, Owl Sparks, Founders Institute Houston, Pearland Innovation Hub, Rice MBA New Enterprises, UofH Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship: Impact Competition, and gBeta Houston.
An active philanthropist, LaGina sits on the Board of Directors for Lift Collective and played a key role in organizing Share The Mic Now Texas. She was recently appointed Leadership Co-chair for The Center for Houston Future. Across all her platforms, LaGina focuses on building sustainable ecosystems that promote generational collaborations, curate unique spaces, foster innovative cultures beyond technology, and envision the future of work and civic leadership.
